Webinar: "Islamic Leasing (Ijara): principles, practice and modern applications. Practical experience of Uzbek Leasing International A.O."

Today, on November 7, 2024, a webinar was held on the topic «Islamic Leasing (Ijara): principles, practices and modern applications. Case strudy: Uzbek Leasing International A.O.», organized by the AlHuda Center for Islamic Banking and Economics (CIBE) via ZOOM.

The speaker of the webinar is the Chairman of the Leasing Association of Uzbekistan, CEO of Uzbek Leasing International A.O. — Zafarjon Mustafaev.

In his presentation, he touched upon the following areas:

  • Brief information on the Republic of Uzbekistan;
  • Financial and leasing market of Uzbekistan;
  • Islamic finance in Uzbekistan;
  • Launch of the Islamic Window on the example of «Uzbek Leasing International A.O.».

It should be noted that at present, the relevance of the topic of Islamic finance for the development of our country’s economy is increasing. The purpose of this webinar is to promote and recognize awareness of Islamic financial products in countries around the world, including Uzbekistan.

The webinar was attended by the Leasing Association of Uzbekistan, leasing companies of our country, as well as listeners from various countries.
